MIKE FULLERTON

Assistant Secretary, Office for State and Local Law Enforcement

Mike Fullerton serves as the Assistant Secretary for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office for State and Local Law Enforcement (OSLLE).

Mike Fullerton serves as the Assistant Secretary for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office for State and Local Law Enforcement (OSLLE). Assistant Secretary Fullerton brings deep institutional knowledge and proven leadership to the role, having previously served as the Executive Director at OSLLE from its creation in 2007 through 2009. Additionally, he has over 25 years of experience working with Congress and the private sector, with a focus on the public safety market. At DHS, Assistant Secretary Fullerton serves as the Secretary’s chief advisor on matters relating to state, local, tribal, territorial, and campus (SLTTC) law enforcement’s role in protecting communities and safeguarding the homeland. Assistant Secretary Fullerton understands the
critical importance of strong partnerships between DHS – the largest law enforcement organization within the Federal Government – and our SLTTC law enforcement partners. Under his leadership, OSLLE tirelessly works to ensure that the interests and perspectives of our law enforcement partners at the state and local level are understood and considered as DHS formulates policies, programs, initiatives, and operations.
